Outstanding guide to making a positive difference in the workplace!

I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in making their own organization a more effective and enjoyable place to work. The book is a quick read but the concepts behind the Leadership Code of Conduct are very powerful. They can be applied at all levels of an organization with a little bit of effort. The examples behind each concept, drawn from Ms. MacConnell’s career, help to show how these practices can be applied to the real world. Over my career, I have worked for some managers that were outstanding leaders, and some that were not. As I reflect on what made the difference, I recognize the concepts in Ms. MacConnell’s Leadership Code of Conduct as practices adhered to by the outstanding leaders.

Direct constructive approach to leading all types of workforce groups

After reading this book, I was able to immediately apply the Leadership Code of Conduct to my everyday project management approach. The book is a fast read with a simple, easy to follow approach; and Ms. MacConnell's examples help provide context around when and where the conduct can be applied. And for the price, it's a tool that everyone can afford to have in their toolbox.

This book is a highly recommended read. It distills down the simple basics required to transform teams, facilities and companies. In my humble opinion, you must master these essential elements as a foundation for all things in business and life. It is a bonus that the book is a quick read and easy for all levels in an organization to understand.
