Not an on- the- fly field guide

It's not actually a field guide. It's more of an explanation of the ecosystems. If you're looking for a book that you can use on the fly to identify plants, animals, trees,etc, this is not it. If you want to study the ecosystems, perhaps this is the book.

This is the fourth regional Peterson Field Guide I've purchased and none have disappointed. Highly recommend for anyone who spends anytime outdoors, it really opens your eyes to the myriad of processes and functions occurring around us in nature.
